Informulation: Design Principles for Future Formulations

The Edinburgh Complex Fluids Partnership (ECFP) welcomes you to our event website where you can register to attend our FREE event and submit a summary of a pitch or poster you would like to deliver.  If you are interested in attending 15 minute 1:1 meetings with other participants please ensure your profile is complete and clearly state what expertise, products etc. you offer.

Understanding the interplay of function, structure, interactions and dynamics in multicomponent mixtures will be essential for informed design of future formulations.  At this event, you will learn about current research at Edinburgh on design principles for new soft materials and will share ideas and technical opportunities with scientists from academic and industrial backgrounds.  Will will cover topics such as multicomponent material rheology, stabilization of interface, gel formation and stability, protein and peptide self-assembly and microbes in complex fluid environments.

The Centre for Science at Extreme Conditions (CSEC) is located in the Erksine Williamson building, adjacent to the James Clerk Maxwell Building (JCMB), and located at King's Buildings.  To reach King's Buildings please follow the pages on travel guidance and then use the map to find CSEC.  Parking is available nearby - when you register please request a parking permit if you plan to arrive by car.
